What are you talking about? Are you talking about locking this entire forum off and making it invite only? I'm sorry but no, then traffic would be dead.

I agree with needing a forum account to see the posts. I was actually reading this being logged out, I didn't notice it until I clicked "Post Reply".
But I don't agree with the invite-only, what if many HQ members are going to join the forum but they don't know anyone that is inside the forum that could invite them? They won't be able to join then.

Look, I've been a webmaster for 2 years, slightly longer than RG has been around (so I'm assuming TE's experience.) But I don't really care about that. What I'm saying is, in 2 years I've seen websites crash and burn a lot.
RG is just staying above the "dead" line. It's almost outgrown itself and died out. Unless we're calling it quits, do not make it invite only. What we need is fresh members, and they aren't wasted space. Tbh, anyone who thinks fresh members are wasted space is an idiot. Fresh members are the life of the forum.
Invite only is a TERRIBLE idea, let's get a shoutbox instead. And, needing an account to view threads is stupid IMO too. Let guests preview content, then have the forum speak for itself.

That's exactly what I was thinking. If people can't get something on their own, it automatically becomes more desirable. We just have to figure out a way to keep people from inviting faggots. How 'bout if you invite somebody and they get banned within a certain amount of time you get banned for inviting a faggot?Famous™ said:
