I would not accept an offer to be apart of any forum's forum team. I've had my fair share, and plus school absorbs my time. Forums are a weekend gig for me.

You sir are correct,, it should be on how good/mature they are and if they can pull in the nessacary work needed to become a moderator. As not only they representing themselves they are representing the forums/community themselves. Especially to new users coming in they see staff members with open scam reports (i.e @michael) they won't believe anyone in the community as a whole.Jimmy said:Popularity and activity doesn't make you a Mod. I was none of the above when I became on. The part you need to fulfill, have a sense of judging the right and wrong, experience the situations calmly, do the reports patiently and stuff like that. There were past mods who never touched reports.

Yes sir.Astro said:It's never easy to make a promotion.
@Michael put in so much work to get his position, making guides every week, constantly helping people, reporting posts etc. He was a very genuine staff member.
He had more moderation logs than another staff member (who had been staff for nearly 6 months) within 24 hours of his promotion.
My point is, anybody can change no matter how great they may seem at the time.
You haven't earn't the trust off anyone here, therefore, making you a bad choice for a staff position.PaladinPHP said:That is true, however I think he was talking about prior activity. For example, myself. For instance, if you and I were the only members. You didn't know how to work around anything in MyBB, you had horrible grammar, etc. but you had been here for 1 year. On the other hand, I, signed up a week ago, but I know the in's and out's of MyBB, I'm responsible with the power that's given to me, etc. then even though I've only been here for a short while, compared to you, I would probably be the better choice.
P.S: These are my words, not his.
