In addition to what @Narc has said, I think that posts should not count in any of the Private sections. It's private, its there for only specific people to see, why should it go on global stats? It will also contribute to making sure users can NOT post-boost in group-subsections.

No the groups are dead as hell already this would make people post even less.

I agree with you, but I find it unnecessary to make this it's own thread. You should have just made this a reply, dude.
