Hello guys, Asssassin here and I just wanted people to post there Skype names here.
I will add many and maybe chat if people want!

My Skype name is: TheTurmoilZerker (Gave "RuneGear" to Mike).

Just add me I accept anyone when I get online tomorrow.

Btw isn't my Skype name legendary!(OldName.)

I don't wish to close the account but i am willing to give it to RuneGear Management.

The real problem is that i got allot of irl friends on it.

Last I checked there's nothing you can do to force him to give the account, only ban him.

Skype name is Epitomedrankhf, if anyone wants to add me regarding RuneScape and black-hat money making methods can.
 
I don't think he should be made to change the skype name, if he never mentioned his username you would never know. So whats the point?

:huh: I don't understand how you can decide what Skype username he can use as his own? If you're thinking that it's a danger hazard and that users will mistaken him for someone on RG's management, then I hate to say it, but those members are nitwits.

It's as if Bungie were to send a message to whomever has the 'Halo' gamertag on Xbox LIVE because they think he will use it to his advantage to social engineer people's accounts. No. They don't give a fuck. It's a violation of their terms if they do. Instead, they just inform everyone how to contact the real Bungie.

OP should be able to keep and use his Skype username. It isn't specified differently in your rules so there's shouldn't be a problem. If you want to protect your users, tell them. As far as I'm concerned, this is selfish.
 
If he was to scam, we would get blamed. Just the same as you don't want to use RuneGear as a rs name.
If he does not give it up I will punish him.

How would you get blamed? That's like saying if I make the RuneGear username 'Xbox' and I scam users, Microsoft will pull a bitch fit and get sued. That doesn't apply.

You're not legally binded to his username nor does RG's TOS or rules specify that you take responsibility for your users' actions. C'mon. I think you're just mad that he has the name and you don't. Because if you wanted to protect RG from having fingers pointed at, you'd just make an announcement telling everyone that 'RuneGear' on Skype name is, isn't management. Simple as that.
 
If i made a Skype name called, RuneScape, will i be shunned?
 
He shouldn't be using it either way. People can easily mistake him as RG Management or something.

Shouldn't and can't are two different things.

Shouldn't means he needs to exercise his own judgement. But when you tell someone they can't, you're doing so for them. And as far as I'm concerned, being on management doesn't allow you to negate what Skype username someone can use. That's up to Skype.

I already suggested you a way to protect your users in my above post. Whether to use it or not, that's your choice. But what username he would like to use is up to him and he shouldn't be punished for his choice.
 
I believe The Elite should have the say so in that as this is his website, not yours Mike.
 

Lol, you say you know so much. But you are wrong. He does have a skype which he does not share.
