I contemplated it, but I saw you could just install the classic theme on 11.10. I done that and disliked it, I prefer the current one just for general usage. I hated the top and bottom bar on 10.
The one thing that bugs me is the lack of variety in programs. I mean I've spent ages trying to find a screenshot tool like hyperdesktop which isn't a pain in the ass to install. Out of curiosity do you use Ubuntu?
Though I do miss the start bar. Mint provides that.
Also, is it just me that see's the large images that stretch the forum_bit cut off awkwardly?
