Post tagging suggestion

After reading http://runegear.net/Thread-Post-Tagging I suggest that maybe the user gets a notification if they are tagged, so that they can see what they are tagged in.
So that this doesn't get abused, a user should only be able to tag one person one time in a thread.
If you do or don't like this suggestion, post a constructive thought please.
Thanks for taking your time and reading this.

I saw you/someone else said that on the main thread and I totally support.

@"Echoes" I support except for the fact of tagging multiple times in a thread.

Every time I mention someone I plan to use this feature to make the thread/post more attractive.

I wrote this on the thread 2 minutes before this thread was made, hmmmm

Don't worry, I didn't steal your idea.
This took me more than two minutes to write, I'm busy at home today lol.
Please edit your post to make it higher quality.

I suppose its a good idea, i don't see to much reason as its alot of extra work for something so small.

I always pay attention to small things on a website, but the big things matter too.
Maybe I'm just trying to be a perfectionist, but this could be nice.

And will the notifcation be something like when you get a PM? I support this.

Perhaps, or there could be a separate notification tab, that will update after you refresh the page.
This notification tab could include reputation changes, post tags, warnings, and other things.

Yeh, i fully support this although it would take awhile to add, seams pretty hard :S

Great idea, seems like it will require alot of work to make,
Will be good if it does happen.

i thought of this as soon as it was made, pretty much like facebook!
