"Post Status" Redirection

Some users may find it useful to be redirected to your list of Status updates when you post a new Status on the index... However I dislike it a lot, I think when you post a new Status it should just refresh the index.

What are your thoughts on this, and my mistake if someone has posted something about this before.
 
I don't mind it much. Never thought of it much to be honest.

I can't even use the status box, it redirects me to usercp.
 
Just like Chewy said, it was meant to be a status update sort of thing, but its being used exactly like a shoutbox. Why can't TE just consider it?

Well it redirects me and everyone else to Usercp, but it does add the status update.

Maybe ....Just maybe it's because of your Market Ban? Lol

MB only stops me from viewing the marketplace.

That's all. I can even view the private forum still.
 
Redirection to the part where all of your updates are is quite useless,it should just refresh the homepage and allow you to carry on with your life.
