Would you guys like to see a point system used again?

Points would be gained by doing things around the forum such as posting. The more you post, the more points you get.

The points could be spent on things such as:
  • 1 Month VIP
  • 1 Month Underground
  • New Activity Awards
  • RS Membership (3 months so far....first come-first served)
  • More?????

These are simply my initial thoughts about what to do with it and this is simply a suggestion.
 
Sounds like a decent plan in all honesty, but with that being said. If you do things like this, and posting competitions, we're going to have a lot of low quality posts from people that know nothing about the topic they're posting about. For example, all of Pichu's posts.
 

Thankfully we have a large team of staff.
 

That is where staff come into it, deleting unnecessary posts.

Don't worry, I think everything will have a fair point value and cost.
 

I understand that, and I know we have a large and good team of staff, but with that being said. Some people take it easy on really low quality posts on things people don't know anything about. Whereas I get pissed off because I have problems. Lol

I believe @"Ninja" mentioned that it was for posting contests only.
 

There was going to be something similar to this too if I'm remembering right, It just wasn't finished.
 
Would be good to see this implemented again as well as awards that users can attempt to achieve, might actually make the point system worth using.
 
If they have a use, in which it does now, I think it's good
 
A points system along with a lottery wouldn't be a bad idea.

For instance,

10 users buy 3 lotto tickets each at 2 points each. 60 points are up for grab. The winning ticket gets 60 points, allowing users to gamble. I believe MyBB has a plugin for this.

Awesome! I would love to post more then. Maybe 1000 points per $1 paypal or something would be interesting.

I will fix this soon. Very busy with college work at the moment.
 
It always worked in the past, I would like to see it implemented again. The spamming couldn't hurt
