I think there should be a post limit count before you can view the marketplace. Maybe around 30 or even higher so people will join the site not just for the marketplace.
 
I think what I am going to do as of right now is make it to where you need to post 25 times before you can post anywhere in the marketplace, and 25 posts to be able to pm members as well. This will probably cut scamming in half, it doesn't take care of turboers, but I can think of something to take care of that possibly.

I think it should be 100 so that you know people have at least invested time into this site and care about it.

25 is a pretty decent amount to me. Currently its 10 to pm, and none to post in the market. I think 25 is more than reasonable, and does take some time. Like I said I will give it a try, and see what happens, and than go from there. Trial and error basically.

Post proof before calling someone a scammer. If I see you calling someone a scammer again without valid proof I will take action.
 

I think that'll be good, its always worth a try.
 
I think making the marketplace onyx only will tone down the scam rate.
 
Make users post 100 times before they can see the marketplace. 100 HQ posts should take about 5 days.
 
Just hire a Staff member for market place. I'm up for it, I have much experience.

I really don't want to have a hidden marketplace. It would cut the markets activity buy at least 75%. Along with members joining. Considering most traffic we get is for our marketplace, and if I make it private we will start getting ranked lower on Google for the keywords I have been working on. This is more so a last resort really.

thats kinda dumb too. I mean it would maybe prevent a few scams but overall it would loose forumkorner alot of members.
 
Make it so that you need positive rep and 25 posts to be abled to make threads in the marketplace or something of that sort.
