Please just read the story and post on what i should do if you have had experience like this or know exactly how paypal works.
My friend who we'll call John sent me 1.8k USD and said "can u send that to my new paypal please?" i said sure. so i sent john 1.6k and he let me have 200USD of it. he said thank you. 6 hours later i get the funds held and my account goes into -1.7k USD because Paypal believes the transaction was unauthorized. i asked john whats going on and he said nothing since it was alot of money paypal is being weird. just call them and tell them that it was an authorized transaction. so i did and paypal told me on the phone "ill take note on that" then like 5 more hours later john tells me that he hacked the first paypal account which was used to send me the original 1.8k. his funds recently got un-held and hes positive balance but im still -1.7k balance and they said on may 2nd 2011 they will release the funds or keep them held depending on how the view the case. please someone help on on what to do!
my paypal does have real information on it, (e-mail,address,phone number, Debit card) but it doesnt have my bank account and my accoutn is NOT Verified please help someone.
