Please Explain Deathcrow

That's what I thought.

No shit I wouldn't do it. I'm an employee of the government. If the government passes the law, they do it.

>Man doesn't own a gun
>He doesn't shoot gun
>People aren't shot
>People don't die

You can get a gun so much easier though through the black market. A gun ban wouldn't stop the people in this world with the mind set of killing someone of actually obtaining one.

Obviously if there is a will, there is a way. Most people don't have that will.

If these people are WILLING to commit a crime and to shoot people, then by god I am positive they are willing to go through a no hassle gun deal with someone wanting to make money.

Lol. Just saw this thread. I have been gone all day.

Okay, first off I want to say this by going off what you have been saying here: "Deathcrow will attempt to say they would of died even if the man had a knife instead of a gun."

You completely misunderstand what we have debated in the past. You honestly do not see my point at all. Why would do you think I would try to say they wouldn't have died? That doesn't even make sense.

In the past we have debated whether guns should be legal. Which I do believe they should be.

But now you are going in the wrong direction with trying to attack me by saying silly things.

I honestly don't understand why you posted this thread. And if you were looking for a debate, then it should of been in the debate section. But to me, this just looks like it should be in the news section as it is a sad story. Nothing to be debated.

In the past we have argued that if a person had a knife they would of still committed the same act they did with the gun.

You are taking this in the wrong direction.

I thought you wanted to get rid of guns because they are an easy tool for people to use to kill. So this implies that you care about the lives of others. Yet you show articles about the very unfortunate deaths of others and try to use them as a tool for your own gain. In my opinion, that is just wrong. I may believe that guns shouldn't be illegal, but I still at least care about the lives of others and would not disrespect those who have been victims of such crimes.

I am not going to be a part of a debate that uses these people's lives as a puppet, pawn, or tool. It is wrong.

All I have to say about this article, is that man was a very brave and loving father. It is unfortunate that there are such sick people in this world.

Guns are illegal in the UK and people still get shot, just it's pretty rare and mainly only happens in the shitty parts of some cities.

Just saying.

You have pretty much my point overall. Obviously people will get guns if they want them bad enough. Less people will have them which means fewer shootings.

Spot on, and this is from personal experience not hypothesising.

Fewer guns mean fewer shootings. Just like fewer cars mean fewer wrecks.

However that doesn't mean there will be fewer criminals.

Some one being a criminal doesn't mean that they are going to start murdering people like most of the crack head gang bangers in the United States. American has some serious social issues with your archaic laws, this is just my opinion but I think I have the same as most of the western world.

I never said that being a criminal meant being a murderer.

And most criminals who murder people (with a gun) obtain that gun illegally.

"Evidence shows that in any population most violent crimes involving firearms were almost always perpetrated by an illegally obtained firearm regardless of the strictness of firearm laws. (Laws do not prevent criminals from obtaining guns)."

Where do you think the people who sold them the guns got them from? They got the legally or from someone else who got them legally.
