Mosquitoes are the most annoying creatures, and dangerous too, since they cause malaria. There are sprays, nets and other methods available to be used to repel mosquitoes with.

But having a plant in your backyard that is anti-mosquito is something you might be reading for the first time… that’s right.

Here is the list of plants that are anti mosquito.

Citronella Grass: This plant’s oil is used in candles and lanterns, burned to repel mosquitoes.
Catnip: This plant is used to stuff toys with, but its oil is used as mosquito repellent.
Rosemary: This garden herb also used in cooking, the oil of this plant is used as mosquito repellent. It can be grown in a pot, so that you can take it inside in a warm place during the winter.
Marigolds: The smell of this plant is objectionable for insects and humans as well. Its smell is repelling for mosquitoes and for other insects that eat vegetables.
