place to learn coding?

I would like to know a good place where we can learn coding on websites,creating scripts and all that stuff that are required to be known to create a site,it would be better if the source is interactive unlike a plain old bore theory.

Google "CodeCademy" they have interactive guides you can follow to learn to code.

I'd recommend moving this to the Programming Section, as for where to learn, which language or languages are you interested in? What OS do you run, and how comfortable are you with the CLI.
