Photoshop vs GIMP

Which do you use, and do you think it is better than the other?

I use Photoshop for my creations, and I think that it is better than GIMP because after using both, I finally found out that Photoshop makes your life so much easier when doing simple tasks such as adding a glow, or emboss, or stuff like that.
 
Yeah PS it has more features then GIMP but I have seen some awesome sigs created using PS.
 
I prefer GIMP. It's so user friendly and helpful, way better than Photoshop.
 
I think Photoshop is way better, it has a lot more features and the graphics in general look better from images made in PS.
 
I could go against that I've seen some much better graphics from GIMP than I have from Photoshop.
 
You can get similar effects as PS CS5 by using Gimp. Though i prefer Gimp, PS has more features. I have both btw.
 
I have both too. PS probably does have more features, but yeah, I'll always consider GIMP better.
