Phonebloks - New & Innovative Concept

A few of you, if not none, may have seen this as the idea was released yesterday.

The amount of attention and support that it has gotten so far, in only 24 hours, is absolutely amazing.

Concept:
To have a phone that can have upgraded or new attachments that allow the phone to be kept for years, without the worry of having to upgrade to a new phone for each release.

My opinion:
No matter how ridiculous the concept may seem, I love the idea. Imagine the impact that it would have in the future. With technology where it's at in this day-in-age, I have no doubt that this concept would be possible.

What do you think?

I don't think the size can compare to any of the Samsung "Galaxys" or any phone from HTC. I think it'd be smaller than most of the larger smartphones that you currently see.

I saw this on tumblr.

The general concept is brilliant. Would definitely blow up in sales if produced.

Seems simple and brilliant. I think this idea's going to be revolutionary.

As for it's size; it looks relatively small in the thumbnail, in comparison with the hand. But I think they would have a variety of sizes once marketed.

This looks really cool but it would take tons of work to make real. Hopefully they can do that though!

With modern technology where it's at, it would, possibly, not be as hard as people think.
