Escape wants to buy a YouTube from me, but it won't let him send as payment owed. It says that he doesn't have the sufficient amount of funds.
He said that if I request money, and he sends as goods, he can do it.

What I'm asking is, if he sends as goods and open and closes a dispute; will I be good/safe?​
 
I'm not trying to pull a fast one before anyone tries to jump to conclusions. I have a bank account and card added, and funds more than sufficient to the price I'm paying yet it wants me to add funds? I tested it on my verified paypal as an invoice and it worked fine. So until I figure out what's going on there's nothing I can do.

You can still chargeback a gift
 

This has happened to me before when sending money to my friend as an actual gift...
