So I've been having headaches and toothache for a couple of weeks, I thought nothing of it until I ran out of painkillers, at which point I decided to go to the dentist. She told me I had one hell of a deep cavity and that it should be filled straight away, to which I agreed. So then she asked me whether I wanted anaesthetic or not, which I declined because I was pushed for time (you have to wait a while having been anaesthetised before the filling can occur). What a stupid decision, it was the most excruciating pain I've ever experienced and the pain is now twice as worse as it was before I went to the dentist. FML.

inb4TL;DR : sore tooth --> dentist --> filling w/o anaesthetic --> headaches4dayz

Same, if only I had the time and the dentist didn't have to stab my gum with a needle.

That is the WORST! It happened to me once when I didn't think I would need it, and I regretted my decision right away. >.< It hurt for about 6 days straight.

Needle>feeling cavity being filled

the needle only hurts for like 2 seconds.
the filling pain hurts for about a week.

I realise this now. What's more, I'm going to have withdrawal symptoms i.e. more headaches when I finally get off painkillers.
