Is it "stupid" or "disrespectful" to send like a "Will you go out with me" type of text? Or not that, but a text explaining how you feel and stuff.

Is it foolish, wise, clever, "nothing special"? (Not bad or good).
 
This is confusing af. I suggest doing it in person if possible, but if it really makes you that uncomfortable, go for it.
 
Asking something like that over a text just make you look like you're a bitch. That's the type of thing you ask a person face to face.
 
I'd start to talk to her through text, and then talk to her in person and ask her.

I wouldn't do it over text. At least at the minimum do it over call, Skype, or FaceTime.
 

Do it in person man. Girls find it weird when you say it over a text. Plus it could either go good or bad. It's bad because she can even not reply. SAY IT IN PERSON! Girls like confident guys.

If it's a girl that may not even reply maybe he should get to know her and talk to her a little more before asking lol.

Yes! I totally agree. But I meant it like this.
He could know the girl for a year & the girl could find it weird that he saying his feelings for her and such, so she won't reply. I just think he should do it in person! Lol

asking someone to be your GF/BF or breaking up with them over text makes you look like a bitch.

this! a girl wants a guy with enough balls to ask in person. unless the bitch ugly then it really don't matter. but if she look good ask in person.
 
If it's something important it needs to be done in person.

Don't ask like that say it in person. Girls like it when they can like a guy without having to ask them out and know the guy has the balls to ask her.
