You're setting an ambitious standard for donations to the site (not that it's a bad thing). You've got to remember that this forum is full of tight asses when it comes to money, who typically don't toss it around unless they receive a substantial return. The sad truth is that the community is far more populated with greed than it is with charity.

On a more positive note, the group looks very promising. It will certainly stand out from others once up and running.

Set donation amounts will only range from $5.00-$20.00 a month. Collectively, between ten or so members, I figure we'd be helping out the site greatly for such a small pitch per member. The $30.00 is technically a buy-in, but it would be sent to Philly to be used for hosting and development. I figure there a few members that can toss out a small sum of cash each month. To be honest, I'm not expecting anyone to have a serious interest in joining VELOCITY for a while.

Sadly, I do not ask for vouches, and I have not maintained an adequate grammar throughout the past few weeks.

No, if I'm compromised, then the db is leaked. I keep all of my accounts extremely secure. I just wanted to see what it was like to be LQ, since I knew I wasn't cool enough to recieve the Grammar Freak award.

This would be cool to join but challenges that are simply donating to the forum are a waste of time and money imo. Good luck with your group though.

You're an example of why I created this group. This group's sole purpose is community growth and development. The collective will be comprised of members that make up for the weight of members such as yourself.

Boost your posts elsewhere.

I sort of agree, even though i may sound like a complete hipocrate. I'm pretty sure that Philly doesn't need $30 extra to keep the site running...

I love this userbar, big ups to @"Astro". I also love the idea of this group, and it is nice to finally see another group with a purpose.
It's a very cool thing that you are doing here and that will be what makes this group so exclusive and will make this an amazing group.
I hope the group is still running when I reach these requirements because I'd be more than happy to apply, and I'm sure by that time I will have grown more and I will be making more deals and middle-manning a few deals.
Good luck to all that apply for this group and as for you, @Sector I wish you the best of luck in running and maintaining this group as well as finding members that are up to the challenges!
