No, you don't. You can buy onyx straight up, but when you want to upgrade to Power, you do.

Yes you could do that. You could also donate ten, then get Onyx and then get power. Either way but you need the first two before you get power. GL

Like someone else said, you can just upgrade to Onyx.
You need to donate $10 before you can upgrade to Power.
