Online Class not Online...

Has anyone here taken online classes?

I have taken a few online classes such as history, English, and humanity courses. They are usually extremely easy although sometimes they can be very time consuming. What I hate though is when the online class isn't 100% online because you have to go to the campus for every exam. I find that extremely annoying.

On the other side of things, I consider it to be annoying when my normal course that isn't online requires the students to use the discussion board like an online class. Not fun.

Brought this up because I have a midterm due tomorrow at midnight and I thought I could take it online like normal. Nope, I have to go to the testing center on campus so I can take the exam online there on one of their computers. Can't start the exam on blackboard without the password that they will give me at the testing center. -.-

I actually transferred this year and I'm doing all of my classes online.

It's a lot harder to retain information when you're learning on a computer screen, maybe that's just my take on it though.
But it's way more convenient and less stressful.

I feel the same way. I don't think it is just you. I am sure this goes for most people as well.

Never taken online classes before. Although I want to start a german course, my dad said that if I wanted to go to Germany to study I'd need to start learning german right now.

I feel that online courses are bad. I usually get distracted with other internet things.
