just ollie by going down a small ramp. that helps a lil bit. then once you are comfortable with that try smooth surfaces like basketball courts(outdoors). that's what got me better when i was like 10. i dont skate anymore though.

I used to just try over and over until you finally get it. Sometimes I used the skateboard backwards if there is a little bit more pop on that side, and I prefer having good bearings. I don't skate anymore either. I hope you learn, good luck.
