I remember seeing RuneScape on miniclip and thought it was some flashgame based off of RSClassic that I used to pay years before that. Started actually playing rs"2" in 2004 and remember the easter event and just getting members for the first time.

I remember that I had gotten up to the cooking part and thought, this is shit..
about a month later, I was really bored and had nothing to do, so I jumped on runescape, selected the detail I wanted on the site, and the world, then finished tut island.. Lo-and-behold, I was hooked afterwards
