Why is the thread titled Old School? This song isnt that old, and doesnt even have a hint of old school in it. Matter of fact this is alternative, and is pretty mainstream.

Aside from that, I think this song is alright. I dont like rap if that is what you want to call it, but I dig the lyricism behind it.
 
It is actually old school. (2001) back when shit was done right. The vid was uploaded to YouTube as a classic if you can read. @Kill, I am actually Very surprised you like this.
 
2001 is old school? That was just over ten years ago... Old school refers to the 80s and early-mid 90s when referring to rap/hip-hop. How sad is it that I know more about this genre than you do and I don't even like it?
 
If you like this shit look into NAS he is a far better artist and has far better lyrics as well... song was decent tho.

The old school vibe is hard to capture by the average producer because the style that was created with heavy bass and light moments.
