So whats going to be different about my project? Well, it's going to be released. Something very few people in the community actually do. We have had all these failures and when these people got sick of what they where doing they just quit. No one ever saw the code, because it never came out.

The base is Azure.
Revision is 377.
Experience rate gain is 4x of Runescape's.​

Reminds me of rs2006, azure base is kind of hard to get around with all the dead ends.

Best of luck I'd higher the exp rates as many people will just go and play rs2006 if you guys have the same rates.

I see that Pilldom is making so much progress in less than a week. Because of this, I might actually move to your server. Vault is making no progress, and I have no clue why.

I'll only be praying that it's 3x as it is not to fast but not to slow. 4x is to quick for the average old schooler. If possible, maybe even 2.5x.

And I also hope that they are moving into the old rs forum boards.

This is server is progressing very nicely.
 
I'll gladly play this server if you can release a mac client. Also add some highscores =D

well, I would play this as it is what i've been searching for.. but what all the "old RuneScape" servers all fail to notice is that the majority of people searching for these servers want NORMAL Exp rates, and NORMAL drop rates, NORMAL Npc positions, towns, and shops.. no "donater" that will have some custom item.. maybe a F2P and P2p perspective just like Old RS had.. this is just another mediocre server.. and will not gain any unique interest.~Blaze.
 

As Mod Pilldom has stated numerous times, the community will decide the XP rate, not him.

There will be no donator items, everything will be f2p unless you buy membership to gain access to the rest of Old Rune.

If you followed the links and perhaps looked at the media you'd notice everything is in place, all NPCs are normal, and there are not any customs.

Nobody will play it if the xp is to slow or its to hard to get items. Also if there are not teles

That's the fun about the server... To play in the 2005-2006 again. ._.

You don't get the point of the server, do you?

Please tell me when this server is released, i wanna play it =)

I think this is a pretty good idea, though I've personally seen these fail. A server I was on recently failed because of the owners arguing. RuneScape Private Servers don't last forever unfortunately. I'll be sure to join this one soon.

I am later going to apply for the beta. I am personally excited to try this out. Old Rune, a place for ole's Runescapers.
