Any of you guys remember, the good old days, where you can go into the gt section, and find so many ogs for sale, that u cant make up your mind, which one to buy? i fucking miss those days.

remember when 2 letters spaced gts were sold for 50$ max? and if u tried to sell a 3 letter gt u get screamed at?

i want that .

now all i see is, computerinzlgy for sale, or Im Haxor dood all those kind of gts.

fucking 2 letter spaced for 200$. and a 3letter tag for 30$+

Lmfao this is so true the scene has become so fucked up. I honestly remember two letters spaced out being sold for 5$ and shit. No lie.

Or do you remember the prices they had last year? tags youstu be 7-8 letters = 40$ 5-6= 60-80, 3-4 letters = 90-120 2 letters = 150
but now it's 7-8 letters = 150-200$ 5-6 letters = 250$ 3-4 letters = 300-350 2 letters = 450$
But word gamertags are so much now, a 2 letter word should not be 450$ more like 150$ like how it was last year. My friend in December bought Forge for 60$

It's ridiculous man, it really is.
I think that the reason tags are gone is because so many people have entered the scene. In the past year it's amazing how much having a original gt was. 4 years or 3 years ago If your GT didn't have numbers in it you were a randy now it's diffrent the opposite.

So why is this in the marketplace, gamertag section?

I'll be completely honest with you I don't think theres any hope for this scene to improve ill tell you why.
So many kids join the scene daily.
See when someone post a gamer tag lets say ' Weed ' and they say offer people will then offer all what they have just to get the tag and others will do the same.
Also, a lot of people have tags that they got when they were cheap and don't want to let go because of how original they are which is stupid because if you have a lot of good tags nows the time to sell because everything's overpriced because of no good tags being sold.

your argument is invalid, the average price for a tag was around there, i didn't say that was a dead price on tags of that nature. But yes back then if it was your dream tag kids would go out of there way and pay a ridiculous amount of money, and now we pay a ridiculous ammount of money for just a good oG

Every year more and more people buy an xbox so more and more gt are created. I bet by the end of the xbox 360's life 4 letter gt will fetch a price just like 3 letter gt are right now....

I remember 2 years ago when I sold the GT Strawberry for $110 and the GT Cookie for $140.

They would sell for triple that now.

No they wont theres over 2 million of them.

It's all due to the fact more and more people are getting increasingly interested in buying oG tags. Back like, 3+ years ago there wasn't even a a real market for oG tags, then with jackers coming onto the scene, and the GT reset, a ton of oG's flooded the market, and since there was so many good tags and people wanted to make a few easy, quick few dollars, dope GT's got sold for next to nothing.

Then suddenly tons of people started realizing "Hey, I want an oG tag, too!!!" and thousands of nerds with their mommies credit cards flooded in and started offering $200 for every tag they saw. Then Microsoft finally got their shit together and upped their security so most jackers couldn't do shit, stopping a large portion of GT market, and then the zune method was patched as well, so no one was able to easily swap their banned oG. Thus less and less good tags were sold, and those that were being sold cost a dickload since there's so many people who end up wanting it.

Real shitty, thank god I got my personal, dope GT for $30 when everything was still allg
