Ok, so me and my girlfriend of 8 months broke up, for personal reasons, and my best friend whose girlfriend was my exs best friend of three weeks broke up, now his ex has been texting me and flirting and such, and I don't know what to do, because I know if I hook up with her, it could possibly ruin, my relationship with my best friend, and her relationship with my ex.
/discuss?
 
Is your friend completely over here?
If he is he will only have a problem in the beginning its more likely that you will have problems with it.
If he is not over her he will hate you forever or get over it.

It depends on the person so i cant tell only you can.
 
I honestly don't know, I've never been in this position before so I'm just going to go with what my heart tells me, thanks for replying.
 
it looks like the type of situations where you have to pick one or the other.
 
Yeah, I'll talk to her about it, and see what she thinks, I'm also the type, where I get attached to girls real easy, so I'll more then likely choose her.

You are young, and even though a 3 week relationship may have felt like the longest time, it really isn't. He will be able to move on fairly quickly from this one, unless he has some serious attachment problems... lol

I have been with my girlfriend for just over 5 years now, and she was my buddy's ex of a 1 month relationship. He and I are still just as good as friends and he is even having a kid with his new girlfriend (yes, it is 5 years later, but still).

So, all I am saying is that, it could be a good move for yourself. I got together with my girlfriend and started clearing up my life of a lot of problems. She is now the woman I plan to spend the rest of my life with and she just started out as my buddy's ex.

You never know =)
 
Don't date her and ignore her. I have been in this mess one too many times, and the best thing to do is to just find your own girl that no one has had problems with.
 
At this point decide whats more important to you. Getting some or having a good relationship. I'd personally pick having the good relationship with your best friend. Plus sloppy seconds are gross...

I cleared it with my mate, he said he was over her, so yeah, I'm hitting it ;)
