(Review Time)

American Metalcore group hailing out of Costa Mesa, California this is there 3rd full studio album to date. I was a little skeptical at first about listening to the album mainly because I've never like there past sound that was released with the other two albums. Boy was I in for a surprise not only is this there best album to date, but the guitar
riffs and pounding screams high and low where superb. The vocalist in charge of clean vocals does a nice job bringing a sense of emotion to the songs he partakes in, all in all this would no doubt be worth the buy or time in jail depending on method of acquiring the album.

Thanks guys for taking the time to read this, I will be doing Two - Three reviews a week depending on how busy I am so if you enjoyed this at all be on the look out for the next one.

-Peace be with you brothers

Before I start, I want to say this is all personal preference and I don't mean to offend your review or opinion.

I saw them live a few weeks ago, I completely disagree of this being their best album.
Ever since OM&M's debut album I have been a fan, however The Flood in my opinion had a distinct sound to it, Austin having changed his screams in that album I could live with, however ever since this album I've been slowly drifting away from OM&M.

To be completely honest, I dislike Aaron Pauley, I preferred Shayley and it seems that this album is more of Aaron than Austin, when I saw them live Austin was just blindlessly jumping around or screaming random notes to try and fit into some of the songs somewhere. When I saw them a few years ago with Shayley, the atmosphere was completely different and the quality of the show was amazing.

As harsh as this sounds, I feel like Austin is trying to replicate Oli Sykes in some songs, they have the same tone and atmosphere.
I agree this album is a good listen, but I just can't say that it's their best. When the album was announced and was said to be the "Heaviest album produced by them yet" I had my hopes up for a Product Of A Murderer/The Depths type of album, however it wasn't.

Personal opinion is OF&M sucks, and all the post-2008 scene girls who claim not to be scene shit over Austin.

@Deuce I would have to agree with some statements you've made also most of what I feel would be heavy is the lyrics just cause they say heavy don't be expecting it to sound like a I
Declare War song. You just have a different meaning to heavy I suppose.

Oh no, I completely agree.
However, they went from saying that The Depths, The Flood, O.G. Loko and Ohioisonfire to Bones Exposed.

It just wasn't what I'd pictured, their old stuff is aways going to be superior in my opinion, purely because I loved Shayley Bourget too.

@Deuce listen to Public Service Announcement, might be more to your liking.

I have the full album on vinyl!
That's probably my favorite song but they didn't sing it live.
Feels Like Forever is also another favorite of mine, reminds me a lot of Three Days Grace.

The song Another You is one of the best mostly clean vocal on there.

Of Mice & Men is my girlfriend's favorite band and she practically worships Austin Carlile.

I listen to them because of her and like some of their stuff but I'm not near as big a fan of theirs as she is.

I love rock but I can do without the screaming.

Three Days Grace is my favorite band so because of your comment I just listened to Feels Like Forever and I definitely hear what you're talking about. I really like it.

Listen to "Would You Still Be There" It's so strong in that song.
Also, assuming your username came from Sleeping With Sirens.
