On Nuke day, what do you predict will happen if it is real?

I predict that by the end of the day, prices for commonly botted items will spike MASSIVELY. Many self-proclaimed intelligent players will run to the GE and buy what ever botted items they can. Their quantities on the GE will drop, and the prices will take a large leap upwards.
 
If it is genuine, then there'll undoubtedly be inflation for the commonly botted goods. It's simple economics - the demand will exceed the supply due to a decrease in the quantity of the factors of production, in this case labour.

Please restate that in a way that dumb people like me can understand.

Bots will never die. People will just resort to the classic auto-clickers is all.

Sorry. Basically, a factor of production is something which affects the productivity of an economic system, such as a firm. In the case of RuneScape, the factor of production in question is labour, i.e. the number of bots. Because botters are being deterred by threats of widespread banning, the quantity of botters will decrease, hence reducing the productivity of the RuneScape economy. Let's take the example of a commonly botted commodity such as sharks. Because the number of sharks being caught has been decreased but the demand for the sharks is perpetual, the price will rise (inflate) - there is more demand than before for each and every shark.
 
The bots won't die. Jagex are just saying this to keep the members (legit players) feeling a sense of relief that no more bots are around. Jagex wants to keep the bots because they make up 85%+ of all the member accounts.
 


Lol, I know. I was jking lol. That is just basically a advanced restatement of my original post.
 
autoclickers and color based bots will still work so there lies the future in my opinion, i just bought 1k frost dragon bones because they are going to spike immensly

If this really happens then its just a matter of time someone comes with a new bot.
 
And after everyone buys everything out, they will try to sell it on and make money, crashing them again. That is when you buy the item as it will go naturally back up
 
Ill mind my own self and Bot Mining or Theiving Peacefully for once =)

I have a feeling there will be just a bunch of people demanding it back like what happened with the wilderness or there will just be almost noone online.
