Okay so i was just curious. Because all I have is PayPal, but I see a lot of people asking for Bitcoin to purchase something from them. Is there an app on the iPhone that I can use to send and recieve Bitcoin similar to PayPal? Also can you link your bank account to your Bitcoin account?
 
Yes you can use Circle or Coinbase and buy bitcoin with your bank account

Awesome thanks! I saw coin base in the App Store but wasn't sure if that was it or not.

use coinbase
i've heard bad things about circle with not receiving payments and glitches with the app but i've never had problems with coinbase

So essentially using coinbase, you can convert PayPal to BTC by linking our bank account to the PayPal and buying BTC with the money from the bank account?
 
I hear Circle is much faster and instant. But both coinbase and circle are good to purchase BTC off of.

no
you can only sell bitcoin with paypal
you can't buy bitcoin with paypal
you have to link a bank account/credit card to coinbase to buy bitcoin

You can link a bank account to PayPal and withdraw the funds to the bank account, so are you not able to use that same account to buy BTC?

I hear great things about coinbase you should like it I have an acc but never bought btc on it yet. Let me know how you like it after using it for awhile.
 
CoinBase is what id use, but that's just me.

you can do that but most kids on here don't have access to their own bank accounts
i am saying you can't directly buy btc from coinbase with pp
 
I used to use Circle when it comes to bitcoin, never really had any problems with it.
