After the shock of Black Ops, I'm very worried that the guys at Sledge Hammer have decided not to release a beta for MW3. The BF3 beta has been released and has received criticisms from reviewers but surely this is only constructive and can only make the game better. The guys at Sledgehammer said that they don't like revealing a painting before its complete. Yes if your making a painting, but you cant go back on a painting so therefore its more unique and precious no matter what the outcome is, whereas a game can be edited and fixed so a beta is, i'm my eyes, a necessity.

Just my thoughts, what are yours?

BETA BETA BETA BETA BETA ... and the chant goes on. yer a beta is kinda the most important part of a game release becaus as you said it allows constructive criticism and they can go back and fix the stuf they f**ked up on.
basicly im of the same opinion as you bleeps

No reason to have a beta and spoil everything. I bet you that they are just making final edits to the code and shipping the game to retailers everywhere.

This is what patches are for. Once the game is released, people will review it and then patches will be made.

For example, MW2's Model 1887s were extremely overpowered. People complained, try have fixed it.

Yer but BlackOps was shocking it took PC Gamers over a week just to get online, mainly because they hadnt tested the game with enough people.

I guess you could say that was Black Ops and this is Modern Warefar (differnet creators etc) but still, i dont like the idea.

no its not but as factor said they can still patch the game after release so if ther is any bugs they can pretede to fix them like notch and minecraft :p but in the long run im not that bothered about a beta becaus i just want to play the game so that i can actualy have my own opinion about it and not just some reviewers opinion
