New York

Hey guys, I'm going to NY on July with my family (we are 5) and I've been searching for hotels but they all seem good. Could anybody recommend a hotel that is well located (about locations I don't know which is the best in the city, so this is pretty important), good service, nice rooms, etc...? Anything else you can think of would be truly appreciated.
I got this thing called "The New York Pass" and there are a bunch of places to visit like all the big museums, parks, Top of the Rock, etc...but if there's something else, please let me know! Places to eat and shop would also be appreciated. Thanks.

I can take a guess and say you are talking about manhattan. There's some hotels right smack in the middle of timesquare, if that is what you are looking for. Also, what would be your budget? Some hotels are overly priced, and wouldn't we need to know? o.o

Yeah, Manhattan. About the budget, the thing is that most good hotels are between 200-300 dollars a night, aren't they? So as long as the location is good 200-300 bucks is what we would be paying. But if there are cheaper hotels in ok locations I would be happy to check them out. Thanks for your help.

I believe some hotels in timesquare are a fortune, like 500+, I think...
