New site header?

I wanted something less bland to be displayed. So, here's what I came up with.

Not sure if I like the silhouette of people. To me it just looks like a blue blob

I agree with Astro, the silhouette looks out of place.

 

[Philly]

Honestly if I am going to change the logo it is going to have to be completely a resign, and nothing close the the current one, which you obviously where basing yours off of. The only thing I would add is if the logo itself is the entire header area, meaning the entire blue part. It also must be extremely HQ, which takes alot of time, patience, and technique. It isn't a job for anyone, but I am willing to even pay when the time is right, which isn't now, as I don't know of anyone that can complete the job to my standards unfortunately.

I like it a lot, I just think that the "One family, One community" Text is too detailed. You either have stroke or a lot of drop shadow and it doesn't really look good. I think the Forum Korner should be more noticed than the slogan and that in my opinion is not what is happening here.
