Really it depends on your budget, but a few suggestions.

I've always been a fan of Nike Air Max 1's and own quite a few pairs.
I personally like the newly released Nike Air Max 1 Ultra Moire's, but there's plenty of styles to choose from.

New Balance's are also very popular and I am quite a fan myself.

Last but not least, vans are wonderful! They are very comfy and last ages.
