New Law going to get passed?

Here in utah they are talking about passing a law that will enforce that teens cannot talk on their phone while driving. They already have the law against texting and driving. So this ilimantes any use of phones.

Ya you may say you can use your bluetooth or just use you built in phone thats on your car but they also made it for you can even do that...

The main goal is to decrease the amount of accidents, but I personally dont think it will work that well. Because even thought its against the law they are still going to do it. Kida like the texting you can still text without being caught, what do yo think?

I think they are trying to pass the same law here in Arkansas. I personally don't care because I don't talk on the phone much. I think it would help decrease accidents.

But at the same time, talking on the phone is almost just the same as talking to some that's in the car, except that you have one less free hand. So if you used bluetooth or and hands free device, that would have the same effect, in my opinion.

I still text when I drive tho lol

Yes see I also thought that I thought it wouldn't do anything for us. If anything it might make it worse. Some cars have built in phones now and you can get in trouble for that to. I just think the whole thing is stupid. I don't think its going to pass but it might. I dont think it will even touch how many accidents happen because most accidents are from something else.

In finland talking to phone without handsfree while driving is illegal, and it has been for pretty long time.
