New internet provdings

So I have finally got my internet and new network setup at home and it's pretty good. I'm not getting the speeds I was expecting yet but I'm sure it's going to improve a lot later on this week.

This was on a wired connection:

The house was wired with ethernet in every room before I moved here so we have setup a media server and we can pump media into every room.

The government want to make the United Kingdom the fastest broadband in Europe by 2015.
 
Awesome. I would like to have a wired connection but unfortunately I have to stick with wireless for now. My internet isn't slow or anything, but wired is always faster than wireless.
 
How much are you paying for that? I'm getting about 1/3 your download (~15mb down) and hardly any up (1mb up) for $48 a month... It was $32 but they keep fucking raising it. It's getting retarded.

It's £35 per month. I've been told that BT Infinity is going to be even better but this seems pretty good. I can download a torrent at 3-5mbs which is pretty much the only reason we got that package.
 
I suppose Internet in the US is more expensive, because I'm fretting a worse (around 30 percent) connection about 20 percent more expensive after the currency conversion.
 

God connection here in the US sucks. I mean, it works if you want to pay out of your ass for installments. I'm paying more than you for internet download/upload not even 1/3 as good as yours. Gayyy
 
Nice I just got new internet on Wednesday.

Previously had like 26 download.
 
US Internet is overpriced and crap.
