New E-mail Phish?

So I got this email from 'Jagex' saying that since my email was registered I could visit RSC before the public release occurs, yet the hyperlink is www.runescape-classicbeta.com . I haven't seen this one fly around before so I'd suggest you guys watch out.

 
That is really nicely done. They will get a lot of victims with that, watch out everyone.
 
It'd be on their front page if it were true. It's not.
 
Lol! That's a great one. I'll bet a good percentage of members here are gonna loose their accounts soon.
 
Why would they re-relese Runescape classic?

Jagex will never email you unless it is to confirm a email address or remove a email address

Also most of these emails get sent to the spam folder. So any email from Jagex that shows up in your spam folder i would keep away from
 

They open RSC for 1-2 weeks every 6 months I believe, Also this email was not sent to my spam folder although I am using hotmail. Jagex also emails you newsfeed only if you're subscribed, so it could trick those who are subscribed to them.
 
Thats why you never click on any link sent through email. If you are really concerned about your Runescape go to account management and login from there not a link sent through a email claiming to be Jagex
