NEVER do this

There's plenty of system files that are required for proper system operation on the Windows platform. Just because you don't know what it's for doesn't mean you can go on and delete it.
If a boot fixes it, you're lucky, most of the system files are not doubled for automatic restoration.

Why would you delete this certain file? I never delete any file which I am not aware of. If I do delete it, I research about the file properly.

How did you delete it and what did it do when you did?

Um, isnt it obvious to not go around through your computer and delete random stuff. ?

Many .dll and .ocx files are needed for Windows, just don't delete things if you don't know what they are

Basically all .DLL files located within your system directory is needed in some way or other, I don't think we need to be warned.

You could've just booted back and put the file back in it's location if you were able to get anywhere at all, but oh well.
