Nerd Vs Geek

A friend and i got into a debate about Nerds and Geeks. My friend thinks that they are interchangeable. I am just wondering if you think so as well

Interchangable. As in calling a geek a nerd and vise versa. Maybe i will create 2 new words "neek" and "gerd"

Nerd is a personality, geek is an expression.
You can ex be geek in a simple game such as world of warcraft but in real be cool.
If you are a nerd you are basically nerd in real life.
