Would i still be able to play Steam (Modern Warfare 2, CS 1.6, CSS.)

Is it actually safer?

i hear there is more then 1 type of linux OS, is that true?
and if it is, which one is the best?

any other information would be much appreciated.

2: pretty sure

3: yes, depends.

4: Don't use it unless you awnt to learn basic linux command line.
 
There only 50 viruses that work on Linux.
