need major help.

For as long as I can remember, my father has been going out at night. He borrows money from me, my older brother and younger sister just to go out. He tried to keep it a 'secret' but we all knew what he was doing. He even admitted it a couple years ago. He has a drug addiction, it's cocaine. He used to smoke it in the bathroom across the hall from my little sister's room and used to go crazy after doing it. Now that he's kicked out, (has been for two-three years), he still does it. He tries to tell me he doesn't but EVERYONE knows he does. I'm the only one he actually trusts because I spend more time with him then anyone else. He's a great Father, husband to my mom, and everything else. He's just not a great person, if that makes sense. He's been to rehab so many times, and has just left early because he says he is better. In 09 he went for 2 months, came back, and the next day he was out again. That's when my Mother lost it, and kicked him out for good until he cleans his self up.

What I want to know is how I can get him to stop this bullshit. He thinks he is invincible and nothing can hurt him, but he's sick for weeks after he has his little 'parties'. How should i confront him with this problem?

That's a delicate thing to talk about, no one wants to admit that they have a drug addiction.. yet your his son so I'm assuming he will listen to you if you try hard enough. Try to just face him and tell him he needs to change, don't know what else to say.

I've tried. He just says he's not doing it anymore. Any other things i could possibly try doing?

OP,you can't help your father,your father is the only one who can help himself. But somebody in his eyesight gotta show him he can. So go make a plan to show him,you're fucking done with it,and that he will regret his choices. Goodluck in this hard time!
