Need Help!

Okay. This may sound weird.

I used to play pokemon on my DS.
And there is a system within the game that lets you trade with people all over the world. I tried to connect my DS to my modem (Which is wifi and ethernet) and it will not work.

How do i get it working if there is a way?
How to get my DS to connect to my wifi internet?

I put in the SSID and WEP key or whatever and all the correct modem info into my wireless settings on my DS. Still doesn't work.

Do you have manual IP settings for your network? Meaning 192.168.0.2 ?

If it's a Nintendo DS Lite, there's no way to connect to your wifi, you can only connect to other DSes in a way like bluetooth. If it's not a DS lite, you should take it to someone who's a pro in these things, he'll tell you what's the problem and fix it, if it's broken, it'll cost you some money.

No its not a DS lite. And iv had it connected to the internet before. Just not at my own house.

Then it gotta be from the IP or something like that. So as I said take it to someone and tell him the whole fucking story, so easy

Wouldn't your DS already have picked up the SSID in the first place? My old DS did and all I needed to enter was the WEP key to connect via wifi. Weird...
