Okay so today during weight traning I got my brand new iPhone 5 stolen. Some asshole took it from my locker when I wasn't looking. I asked everyone in my class and nobody "had it". So I talked with the security at my school and they couldn't do anything about it other than make me fill out a stolen phone report. So all I can do now is hope that the idiot who stole it turns it on. But what I wanted to ask you guys is that if you have any advice on how to get it back. All I can do now is rely on Find my iPhone. But are there any other ways to find it? Have any of you been through this?

Please try and help.

Thanks

They couldn't do anything? Someone lost an iPhone a few weeks ago and everyone in the locker room couldn't leave until they found it. They brought in police and shit.. cray cray.

They eventually found it like 45 mins later.

Yeah I asked them if they could do that and they said they couldnt. Though some of my friends told me that they have done it to their class before. But idk

Just wait for him to turn it on, and then send it a message saying return it, if it's not turned into the office you will files charges because you know where the phone is.

tbh your fucked. you can track it with find my iphone though. thats really the only advice i can give.

Better be careful, they may just do a system restore.

I always have my phone hooked up to the app "Find iphone" If you get your phone back i would consider using this app.

do you have a lock on the phone? if not shut down the sim card. also make sure you go back and retrace your steps.

Apparently 1967 just humiliated me and just made this the newest, most idiotic reply ever.
Sorry bout that Peal.

@bubba iPhones here have sim cards, and you can shut down the sim cards by calling your operator which would mean if he didn't have a lock on it the person would not be able to make calls using his number. His reply made perfect sense.

I'm not going to deny you if you're true, but I could of sworn to god they don't have sims.
Whatever, inb4negrep.

Nah man, I wouldn't neg rep someone unless they scammed me or something like that.

Your signature pretty much sums up how much you care about what you say, though.

Depending on the carrier, yes they do have sim cards lol Verizon is the only provider that does not use a sim card in the Iphones (Unless it is a 4g phone, then yes it has a sim card!) The new Iphone 5 has a newer sim card technology called the nano-SIM (also known as the 4FF).

I'm not asking you to change it nor was that advice to. I was just saying what I thought.

That sentence is grammatically incorrect Scott. The proper grammatical usage would be as follows: "I'm not asking you to change it, nor was I advising you to do so, I was just stating my thoughts.

GG, No reply lol j/k man just busting your balls catholic

Sir Slacker.

The proper grammatical usage of what you have just said is actually; "the proper grammatical usage would be as follows".
