Need help getting a old tag back

First of all I didn't know what section to post in, so I said who cares.

So a few months back I lost a tag I had that was a former leader of a huge clan. It got scammed then I went to recover but i had a issue. The email linked to the account was a live.com email. And now it seems that you can't sign into them so I can't get into the account.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Not sure what you want me to explain, you sign in the same way you would with any other microsoft account.
