Need help before i head out

So I'm going back to the competitive gaming scene. Me and a friend from school are starting up a team. Anyways before I go. I keep getting booting offline in league play on bo2. Is there anyway I can get some shjtty free VPN for my ps3 or bridge my connection for ps3 and use a VPN on my laptop. Could anyone help me?

Using a wired connection would help, although I don't know how to 100% have a secure VPN/Connection.
