So I was just mini golfing with my step brother and I saw this hot ass chick. Tbh I wanted to ask her for her number but I didn't necessarily know how to approach here without looking like a weirdo. She was with some friends (all girls) and her mom (kinda awkward) anyways. I pussied out and don't ask her. Idk what it is but a lot of times I over think shit to much and when I do that I think of only negative outcomes and no positive outcomes. Plus I'm really shy in public and in school. any help. Please no trolling. Serious responses only. How should I have approached her and what do you think I should have said?
 
Well I know you are ugly and all but maybe count down from 10 and just go for it. Count down from 3 will make it even easier.
 
Just go for it without thinking through it too much.
If you hang back all the time you'll miss out on things like this that you'll regret.
Just start general conversation and see how it goes instead of being focused on just asking her out.

Oh. Do what I do send my 5 year old sister to tell her that i like her. If she reacts nice, I go along. If things don't go as planned I say "That she was just playing around and is just a 5 year old".

She's not going to laugh in your face, call you a pussy, and then walk away with her mom + friends. She'd probably respond back, with her name.

You're not a creep for asking someone's name. Once you have her attention talk about whatever the hell you want. It's really not that hard, and I'm sure you're a likable person.
Even if she doesn't instantly let you fuck her or become your girlfriend, you just made a new friend you can possibly get the number of, and you just work on it from there.

I'd hate to live a life of "What-if"s.

What is the worst she can do, reject you? If she does, fuck her. Move on to another.
