Need a tiny bit of help with a paper.

Basically I have this essay due and I have to right about 10 places I would take someone who's never been to the country to tell them about our history.The farthest I can go however I pretty much the end of the civil war. So far I have The Oregon Trail for Western Expansion, Breed's Hill for The Battle of Bunker Hill, Louisiana Purchase for the expansion of the US, Harpers Ferry for John Browns Raid, Mulberry Grove for the inventions of the Cotton Gin, Gettysburg for the War + Gettysburg Address, The White House because of the president, and Philadelphia for the Declaration of Independence. That's 8 right there, so I need 2 more. Any help is appreciated.

That was after the Civil War, I ended up doing the Hudson and Mississippi Rivers.
