How much did those 15KRPM hdd cost?


Because HDD are way too expansive at the moment. In my opinion, I would wait until HDD prices have fallen. In that case, you will be able to afford it. Right now pricing is shocking.

Also how old is your Seagate HDD.

The 15K drives were free out of an old HP server at my work.

My seagates: 1 of them is about a 18 months old and the other 2 are about 6 months old.
