Name Recycling

Hello, I'm fairly new around here.

Before signing up, I intended on using my normal alias 'Astro'.
I was pretty sad to see that it had indeed been taken last year, and has since left the account inactive/abandoned.

I made this thread to ask if there was any way I could get that name, or if there was an 'inactive timer' or something similar on usernames.
