Let's discuss the pros and cons (likes and dislikes) of the system that I think defines MyBB.

Pros:

It can show how many people trust a user and why
It can warn other users of that particular member

Cons:

Rep abuse
False rep

Pros:
It tends to show the negative or positive opinion other users have on the person. Can't help determine wheter or not he is a good member.
Can help alert users if the member has commited a bad act upon another member.

Cons:
Suckup rep
Rep abuse
Random repper saying 'HQ user, very trustworthy' without even reading the posts, or having dealt with the user.

Pros:
Tells how trusted they are
Tells if they are a scammer or not
how helper they are


Cons:
People abuse

Reputation does not tell how trusted a user are. Reputation has nothing to do with trust, as it is based on anothers opinion.

But it can if they scammed one another do you think they are going to go postive rep them? Or negative rep?
